A sheet metal worker (apprentice) designs, creates, assembles installs, and repairs sheet metal products. They learn to read and understand shop sketches used in fabrication and erection, including those taken from original architectural and engineering drawings or sketches. An apprenticeship training program consists of on-the-job and in-school training.
